Citizens Advice
Sefton is a registered charity and the demand for its services is ever
increasing. During the year 2009/10 we helped 8,342 Sefton residents
with 30,296 different issues. People are facing increasing difficulties
in the present economic climate, including loss of employment, debt
and housing difficulties, relationship problems, and cutbacks in benefit
entitlements. There is no doubt people need Citizens Advice more than
ever.
We are grateful
to our funders for supporting our work, and to our volunteers, who ensure
the service carries on at the lowest possible cost. Increasingly however,
we are having to turn to fundraising to help us with such things as
keeping our IT systems up to date and secure, replacing worn out furnishings
and improving working conditions for our staff and volunteers.
There are several ways you can help us:
Join our lottery – for only as little
as £2 per month you can be entered into our monthly Lottery
– and have the chance of winning £100!
